Each bar runs from when we acquired the instrument. Green while the vendor still supports it, amber once we think support has lapsed, red once that's near-certain. The dark line is booked hours per quarter from Corum. Gray means we don't have dates yet.
Acquisition years marked “Est.” and every amber/red start date are estimates from vendor product history unless a vendor end-of-service date was published (Bruker NMR and MS tables, Cytiva Biacore). Amber begins at the estimated end of practical support; red begins at a published vendor end-of-service date, or three years after the amber start when no date is published. Avance III NMR rows go amber in Jan 2025 because Bruker ended Avance III service on 31 Dec 2024 (if your consoles are actually III HD, that doesn't apply yet); they turn red in Jan 2030, when III HD support ends too. Biacore T200 turns red when Cytiva service ends on 30 Jun 2030. ✕ marks an instrument that has stopped being booked. Where no vendor end date exists, bars use a typical-lifespan estimate (amber at acquisition plus the usual working life for that kind of equipment, red three years later); where your priority sheet gives a Replace FY, amber starts there instead. Unknown acquisition dates are assumed: about 2015 (IALS build-out) for instruments booked since their core started using Corum (about 2020 for the Clinical Testing Center), otherwise about three months before the first booking. Gray bars are dormant instruments we haven't researched. A faded bar start means the acquisition date is unknown, so the bar begins at the first Corum booking (Corum data starts July 2020). Instruments not booked in 12+ months and not on your list are hidden unless “Show retired” is on; ✕ marks their last booking. A hollow dot marks listed instruments with no bookings in the last 12 months. Ticks on the year axis fall on July 1, the first day of each fiscal year; each FY label sits between its own July 1 and the next.
